CHILDREN’S ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR
DR. ZOO SINGS is music and theatre for all ages but created for parents! It is the is the family entertainment division of the band DR. ZOO. The first album ZOO AND THE MOOSE: AN AFRICAN ADVENTURE (released October 2021; 2022 ECMA Nominated) presents upbeat songs with African rhythms and themes of embracing multiculturalism, positive identity and bringing the world together.
We also present musical theatre performances for children of all ages, such as the play ZEBRA AND THE MOOSE

Randal Arsenault, a.k.a. Dr. Zoo, is a Newfoundland producer, writer, and singer/songwriter who tours nationally and has been nominated for 2015 and 2009 ECMAs. Randal has spent 20 years working in Africa as a university teacher and Director of African School for Global Citizenship (www.schoolforglobalcitizenship.com)
Actors, Singers:
We hire actors/singers in St. John’s Newfoundland for eastern Canada shows, and in Calgary, Alberta for western Canada shows
Examples of Newfoundland actors include Jim Healey (The Moose), Caitlin Pretty (The Zebra), Michelle Clemens (The Lion)

Dr. Zoo Sings performs with a full band or Randal Arsenault on guitar
